Update 2019 The investor visa requires an investment in real estate or bank CD of close to $39,000.
Clarifications:
- With the Amparo Visa you have to prove also the steady income of USD 386/month. – You can get the Amparo Visa not just for marrying a citizen but also for beeing the spouse of a permanent resident.
- And also if you have a college degree, doing the “professional visa” could be the better option than the “investor visa”.
- Those with a Temporary Residency Visa in Ecuador are allowed to leave the country up to 90 days in the first year, and again up to 90 days in the second year. And it’s really USD 386 and not USD 368 :D
