He’s gonna name things that you should avoid doing in order to avoid Gringo prices.
In Latin America they use the word Gringo what means foreigner.
The so called Gringo Prices are prices a foreigner needs to pay because he’s a foreigner, means locals will purposely charge you more because you’re a foreigner!
For example: If you’re asking people in an Expat group on Facebook to tell you how much in average an apartment or a house cost. You will most probably only get the Gringo Prices and not the local prices because most Expats don’t even know they got Gringo priced, and even if they do, they mostly don’t care cause it’s still cheap. Off course, you can do this, but in order to get the local price, you should avoid asking other Expats.
